It was such an honor to announce that the Executive Women of Lake Norman will be providing a $3500 scholarship donation to Answer Scholarship in honor and memory of our dear friend Lauren Kimsey.

And, this is what makes this group so amazing! Our members, past and present, coming together to further other women in our community! What a proud moment!

Lauren’s Legacy

We lost Lauren on September 10, 2016 at the age of 39 after she lost her battle with Synovial Sarcoma. Lauren had strong ties to the Lake Norman community. She was the Director of Marketing at Aquesta Bank, an active Rotarian with the Rotary Club of North Mecklenburg, and enjoyed serving her community in Philathropy through Exectuive Women of Lake Norman, Rotary, and Big Day at the Lake. Lauren would have been honored to know her name would be associated with helping a woman in need.

Oh Tricia. This brings tears to my eyes. She would feel so honored and LOVE that this scholarship will help someone in their life move forward and better themselves. This is absolutely amazing!
