Cornelius, NC – The Executive Women of Lake Norman held their annual Holiday Luncheon Celebration for members and their guests on December 16, 2015 at Davidson’s North Harbor Club.  Several community awards were given in addition to a $1,000 check which was presented to Megan Lynch, Executive Director of the Mooresville-Lake Norman Christian Mission, the group’s charity of choice in 2015.

Starr Miller, 2015 President presented Jodi Vipperman-Wright of Savory Moments Gourmet Catering with the Small Business Owner of the Year Award.  Tricia Sisson of The Range at Lake Norman received the Community Service Leader Award, and the Presidential Award was presented to Danielle Ratliff of Serenity Now Massage Therapy.  Kathy Holden of Home Helpers & Direct Link received the Five Years on the Board of Directors Service Award.

The Executive Women of Lake Norman (EWLKN) is an organization of professional women who hold positions of leadership within their organizations.  EWLKN’s mandate is to facilitate relationships between professional women through the core values of leadership, mentorship, membership and friendship.  Some of the organization’s targeted areas of focus in 2016 are: to facilitate networking opportunities for personal and professional growth and involvement in community service programs.
