Savory Moments is a sister owned catering company since 2009. Owners Heather Scovel and Jodi Wright opened in a rented a commercial kitchen in a shopping strip. They started by catering to businesses around the Charlotte Area, Farmers Markets and local school lunch programs. Business was progressing, meeting new clients, and building the business for the next few years. The company was excited to be sharing the DNC business by catering during the event, which provided additional exposure and landed new business contracts for the company. At this time the owners realized it was time to find a larger more permanent home for the business.

Property was found just across the Charlotte line in Huntersville. This provided space for the custom designed catering kitchen, event space, and delivery prep area. The additional space signaled a new direction with the opening of Magnolia Woods Event Venue in 2015. The venue offers a lovely outdoor patio with a waterfall and fireplace along with 3,400 square foot indoor venue.

Through the years the sisters have dedicated their time and resources to different organizations. Including Boy Scouts, Ada Jenkins, HOHTS at Lake Norman, Children Hope Alliance, Charlotte Earth Day, and Charlotte Mecklenburg Athletics.
Heather and Jodi appreciate all their clients and continuous support they receive, and look forward to new endeavors and opportunities of where the company will go to next.
